Trekking: Two Nights, Three Days Towards Phalsund
A trek rather than a camel ride, out past the Phalsund/Manwar area — tailoring villages, a Bishnoi settlement and open dune camps. Because this route starts around 160km from Jaisalmer, jeeps, kitchen staff and camping equipment are sent out ahead, which affects pricing versus our Jaisalmer-based routes.
The Route
Day One
After breakfast, leave from Manvar or Pokaran Fort and drive toward Jaisalmer — about 65km (2 hours) — to reach village Parasar, the starting point for the trek.

Trekking through smaller villages and dunes en route. Lunch stop here.
First night's stop, camping in tents.
Day Two
After breakfast, trekking continues from Rawat Pura.
"Darji" is Rajasthani for tailor — this village is known for its tailors. Villages and dunes are visited en route.
Lunch stop.
A Bishnoi caste village. Overnight camp on the Potliyon ki Dhani dunes.
Day Three
After breakfast, the trek continues toward Dhhai Ji Ki Dhani.
Around 3–4 hours of trekking. Lunch here, and the trek ends — from here the group boards a bus for the drive to Jaisalmer, approximately 150km, around 1.5–2 hours.
