Jeep & Camel Safari: One Day, One Night to Korva
A full day of sightseeing by jeep — Bada Bagh, Ludharva, Amarsagar and the abandoned village of Kuldhara — followed by an afternoon camel ride into camp at Korva for the night.
The Route
Day One
8:00am start after breakfast, by jeep from the hotel.
The royal cenotaphs. By jeep.
The old capital of Jaisalmer, known for its Jain temple. By jeep.
Jain temple and lake. By jeep.
The abandoned heritage village of the Paliwals. By jeep.
Lunch at 1:00pm (pack lunch or hot lunch), with a 2.5 hour rest.
A Muslim village. By camel, starting around 3:30pm.
A mixed-caste village.
A Rajput village.
A Hindu village. Overnight in camping tents on the nearby dunes, with campfire and dinner (open-air sleeping available on request).
Day Two
Sunrise and breakfast, then a two-hour camel ride before a jeep pickup back to Jaisalmer. Safari ends.
